Wayne Kenneth Saari of Livonia, Michigan born in Mohawk, Michigan, May 5, 1933 and passed away January 10, 2019. Son of the late Wagner and Eileen Saari. Devoted husband to the late Margaret Mary (Pairman). Brother to Dorothy (Arthur) Robbins, Donald (Yvonne) Saari, and Sandra (William) O’Keefe.
Proud father of Kenneth (Debra) Saari, Christopher (Cheryl) Saari, and Diana (Dale) Robenault.
Dear grandfather to Amy (Sergio) Garcia, Andrew (Elizabeth) Saari, Abigail (Benjamin) Andrus, Justin Saari, Jaclyn Saari, Jessica Robenault, Hannah Robenault, and Logan Robenault. Cherished great grandfather of Gavin Garcia, Evan Garcia, Ava Garcia, Keller Andrus, Andrew Saari, and Holland Andrus.
Wayne was a veteran of the U.S. Army and U.S. Naval Reserve and retired from Ford Motor Company, Experimental Engineering Operations.
Wayne enjoyed golf, woodworking, and home improvement projects. He was a kind and generous person, sharing his time, knowledge, and skills with family and friends. Wayne left a legacy of love to those that knew him.
Wayne’s memorial service will be held at Shepard of the Lakes Lutheran Church, 2101 S. Hacker Rd., Brighton, Michigan 48114 on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at 11:00am. Luncheon to follow.
