Zorica Petroski

Zorica Petroski was born on January 25, 1952 to her parents, Slavko Kaloperovic and Desanka Djekic in Derventa, Bosnia. She spent her youth in Belgrade, Serbia before moving to Detroit, Michigan as a young adult. Zorica passed away on June 4, 2023 at the age of 71.

Beloved mother of Anita (Andriy) Demkiv, Sandra (Randy) Erskine, Stephanie Webster, and Stefan Petroski. Cherished grandmother of Alex and Maya Demkiv, Benjamin, Ella, Nina, Anika and Luca Erskine, Nickolas and Bradley Webster, and Lindsey Kensler. The father of her children, Zlatko Petrovich, also survives Zorica. Her dear sister, Yelana Kaleperovic preceded her in death.

Zorica was both an exceptional baker and cook. She had a keen fashion sense and eye for design. She found tranquility in her garden and loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed a good cup of coffee and Balkan music. Zorica will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Visitation, Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 2:00PM-7:00PM with a Parastas service at 7:00PM at Harry J. Will Funeral Home-Livonia. Funeral service, Friday, June 9, 2023 at 11:00AM (in state 10:00AM) at St. Michael Orthodox Church: 26355 W Chicago, Redford Charter Twp, MI 48239. Interment to follow at Parkview Cemetery.
