Agnes Simpson

Peacefully at University Hospital on January 26, 2012, Agnes Margaret Simpson of London in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Alfred Andrew “Bud” Simpson. Loving mother of Wayne Simpson (Lee), Gerald Simpson (Sandy), Carol Knuth (Hans), Gloria Simpson, Mickey Simpson and Donna Simpson. She will be missed by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Agnes is also survived by her sister Virginia Thornley and sister-in-law Shirley Phillips, She is predeceased by her brother William Phillips sister-in-law Sydney Phillips, Brother Ronald Phillips, brother-in-law Bruce Thornley and daughter-in-law Peggy Simpson. Agnes spent her life helping others, both as a practical nurse at CPRI, as a volunteer there and raising a family. She loved sunny days in the garden, reading mystery novels and doing her beadwork. Visitation will be held at Needham Funeral Service (520 Dundas St., London) on Monday January 30, 2012 from 12 to 1 pm. where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1pm.
