Alan Graham Lynn

Alan is predeceased by his loving wife Bernice of 67 years. A dedicated father to Michael, Ruth (Larry) and Stephen (Shawna), and grandfather to Adam, Bryan, Kelly, Amanda, Michael Jr., Ashley, Jayme, Brendan, and to nine great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his dear sister Barbara Hutchinson (Robert). He is also predeceased by his mother Mabel Pollex, his father John Lynn, step-sisters Marjorie Fansett and Audrey Taylor, and his grandson Tyler.

Alan was a member of the Royal Navy. He moved to Australia in 1955, where he broke three Queensland amateur weightlifting records in the middleweight and lightweight divisions. His passion in karate/kung-fu earned him a 3rd degree master black belt. He taught karate and kung-fu for many years while associated with the London School of Self-Defense. He was a dedicated worker at Labatt Brewing Company for almost 28 years.

A small celebration of life will be held on March 6, 2026, 1:00pm, at Needham’s Funeral Service, 520 Dundas St., London. Donations may be made to any organization supporting the homeless in London.
