Cherished mother of Barbara(Peter Klein), David(Nancy Haight-Haldane), and Heather(Craig Van Wees). Predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Tom and her treasured daughter Nancy, and son-in-Law Stuart Collison.
She was a devoted grandmother to Alex(Jenny), Sam(Kelsey), Charlotte(Brennden) and Sarah. Proud Great-Grandmother of Abbi and Ivy.
Dear sister of Diana(Gary Scholl), aunt to Jennifer Easton(Jim) and Brett Griffiths(Shannon) and the late Jay Griffiths, and great aunt of Liam and Morgan.
Betty Lou volunteered for over 35 years in health care and community service, including serving as President of the Women's Auxiliary at St. Joseph's Hospital and as a longtime member of the May Court Club of London.
She will be deeply missed by her good friends Norma, Carole, Leslie and Terry. She valued their friendship very much. Also missing her is her little dog, Ozzie. He was very devoted to her, as were the many rescue dogs she adopted over the years.
In lieu of flowers, Donations in memory of Betty Lou may be made to the Middlesex-London Humane Society, the May Court Club of London or St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation (Asthma Clinic).
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Needham Funeral Service, 520 Dundas Street, London, Ontario, on January 24, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with the funeral service to follow immediately at 12:00 p.m.
