Gerhard Walter Kroes

Gerhard now joins his beloved wife, Kimberly, with whom he shared a deep and lasting love. He leaves behind his two cherished sons, Jacob and Sam, and his granddaughter, Aurora, who will carry forward his strength, humour, and love.

Gerhard was a man who made friends wherever he went. Known for his warm heart, quick wit, and generosity, he was a familiar and welcome presence to many, especially among his friends at the Pond Mills Apartment Complex, where his kindness and laughter will be sorely missed.

A lover of classic American icons, Gerhard found joy in the music of Elvis Presley and the films of John Wayne. Their spirit of independence, grit, and soul reflected much of his character, strong, loyal, and unshakably genuine. He was also a major fan of the Chicago Black Hawks.

A graveside service will be held in his honour at Pond Mills Cemetery on Thursday, June 19th at 12:30 PM. All are welcome to attend and celebrate the life of a man who left a lasting mark on all who knew him.

He will be remembered always as a devoted father, a loyal friend, and a man who lived with his heart.
