On July 4, 2012, Mr. Robert (Bob) Rawling in his 79th year. Beloved son of the late Muriel (1998) and Jack (1970) Rawling of London. Dear nephew of Jean White. Dear cousin of Gary (Jean) Fordyce, Phil Fordyce, Rick (Terri) Fordyce, Marnie (Wayne) Beckman, Jeff (Julie) Bradford, Bill (Patti) Bradford, Jim (Sheila) White, Barry (Kathy) White, Susan (Gerry) Wardle and Sharon (Chuck) Midgette. Predeceased by his cousin Greg Fordyce. Bob was a respected Jazz Drummer, playing at local venues and touring across the country during the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. He had the pleasure of meeting many well known artists during his career, including Garth Hudson, Ronnie Hawkins and even played with Johnny Noubarian. He will be missed at the regular jam sessions with his fellow jazz enthusiasts. Friends and family will be received at NEEDHAM FUNERAL SERVICE, 520 Dundas St., London on Sunday, July 8, 2012 from 1pm until the time of service at 2pm. Interment to take place at a later date.
