June was born in London, Ontario, and attended Beck and Medway Secondary Schools. She trained as a nurse at Victoria Hospital and worked briefly as a head nurse at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Detroit before returning to London to marry the love of her life, Ted Miller, and start a family. She loved her career as a nurse and returned to work for a prominent local doctor, Dr. Prueter, and MDS Labs.
June put the love of her family above all else. She was a loving, caring, and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
June spent much of her leisure time travelling the world and at her cottage at Port Franks and her winter home in Vero Beach, Florida. She loved dancing and knitting and was an active community member, volunteering for the Kiwanis Club of Middlesex and calling bingo at the Chelsea Park Long Term Care Home.
A Celebration of Life will be held in memory of June on Saturday, January 18th, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Needham Funeral Service, 520 Dundas St, London, ON.
