Kenneth Ken Leroy Culp

Peacefully on October 29, 2011 at Victoria Hospital, Kenneth Leroy Culp, of London, in his 88th year after a short and courageous battle with esophageal cancer. Predeceased by his wives Norma (Barnes) 2010 and Desta (Newman) 1994. Special friend of Shirley Vanemden. Father of Penny Turner (Dennis), Chuck Culp (Helen), Kim Marko (Anthony) and Ken Culp (Virginia). Grandfather of Pam (John), Kathy ( Adam), Jennifer, Meghan and Erin. Great grandfather of Bailey. Predeceased by his parents Otis and Nellie Culp and brother Earl Culp. Long time employee of Elliott Marr & Co. for over 40 years. Enjoyed a very active life after retirement. Bowled on four leagues per week, took weekly bus trips to Windsor Casino and many, many day trips. Ken will be missed by many friends and family. Our heartfelt thanks to the staff on C5-304 at Victoria Hospital who cared for him in his final days. Visitation will be held in the Needham Funeral Home (520 Dundas St) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Where the service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at 2 pm. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Donations in memory of Ken to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Lung Association would be appreciated.
