It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pamela Suzanne Cowan (Trupish), peacefully at 'Hospice' with her family on July 20th, 2014.
Pam was the 2nd child of John and Margaret Trupish, born in Oshawa on July 10, 1949.
Pam grew up in Rodney with her parents and two sisters, Gwen and Jo-Anne. Pam graduated from St. Joseph's Regional School of Nursing in 1970. She spent her 35 yr career as a dedicated nurse with The Victorian Order of Nurses, respected for her compassion, warmth and caring attitude. Pam loved being a nurse but considered her children to be her greatest joy---'they made my life worthwhile; they are my 'raison d'être.'
Deeply saddened by her passing are her husband, Frank; her son Matthew; and her daughter Kathryn (Josh).
Pam also leaves behind her much loved mother Margaret and two sisters, Gwen and Jo-Anne Stephens (Bill). Pam was predeceased by her precious daughter, Amanda (2007) and her father, John (2006). Pam will also be lovingly remembered by her mother -in -law, Irene Cowan (Bob, 2012);
her sisters-in-law, Roseanne (Harley, 2007) Donna (Jim) and Lorraine (Allan) and other family members and friends.
Pam asked that all those who were so supportive be lovingly thanked. A special thank you to Joan for the Thursday outings and Drs Anita Singh and Leonard Minuk. We will long remember the exceptional final care provided by St. Joseph's Hospice.
