Ralph Smith

SMITH, Ralph - Peacefully on January 30, 2014 at his residence, with his family at his side, Ralph passed away at the age of 82. Beloved husband of the late Margaret "Peggy" Smith (2007). Ralph was also predeceased by 8 brothers and 2 sisters. Loving father of Michael of St. Catharines and Laura Carlin of Melbourne. Cherished Grandpa of Heather Carlin, Keith (K.J.) and Kristen Hay. Great-grandpa to Preston Hay. A special thanks to Keith Hay for the many years of friendship. Ralph took great pride in his work with cars - his love started with a gas station and progressed to owner/operator of D&R Auto Body where he and his family took care of the vehicles of many businesses in London. Ralph's love of dogs was life-long. His furry companion Nick was by his side till the end. Ralph loved spending time with his beloved wife and family at the cottage on Rice Lake. Friends and family will be received at NEEDHAM FUNERAL SERVICE , 520 Dundas St., London on Tuesday February 4th from 6-9pm and Wednesday February 5th from 12-1pm. Service in our chapel at 1pm.
