Peacefully at University Hospital on January 16, 2012, Roger Seward Blackwell of London in his 90th year. Beloved companion of Audrey Metcalf. Loving father of Dorothy Rigby (David), Meg Hoppe (Darryl) and Kim Blackwell (Jackie). Dear grandfather of Dylan Millet and April Janzen and great grandfather of Leo and Virginia Toner-Millet and Emma Janzen. He is also survived by his brother Gerald. Roger was predeceased by his first wife Rotha (1991), his second wife Betty (2002) and his brother Rodney (2006 ). A memorial service will be held in the Needham Funeral Chapel (520 Dundas St) on Friday February 24, 2012 at 2 pm. Donations in Roger’s memory can be made to the A.L.S. Society or the charity of your choice.
