Tanya Stacy Hillcoff

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Tanya Hillcoff, who left us peacefully on August 9, 2024, at University Hospital. Tanya was born on October 25, 1976, and was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, and friend.

Tanya is survived by her boyfriend, Nelson; her cherished children, Michael and Austin; her loving mother, Violet; and her siblings, Kathy, Gloria, and Laura. She will also be deeply missed by her nieces and nephews, who brought so much joy to her life.

Tanya had a heart full of love and a spirit that touched everyone she met. Her passions, including her love for animals, a fondness for unicorns, and the joy she found in shopping trips with her son and mother, were sources of immense happiness for her. She cherished the moments spent talking on the phone with her nephew James, always bringing warmth and laughter to their conversations.

She has been reunited in heaven with her father, James, and we find comfort in knowing they are together again. Tanya’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew her, and her family and friends will forever cherish her memory.

A funeral service to honour Tanya’s life will be held at Needham Funeral Service, 520 Dundas Street, London, ON, on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at 11 AM. Visitation will be held one hour prior, starting at 10 AM. Following the service, she will rest at St. Peter’s Cemetery at 1 PM.
