Victor Arthur Rose

Victor (Art) passed at Parkwood Hospital Veteran’s wing on July 20TH in London Ontario . Victor was born in London, Ontario March 31, 1920. He served in WWII from Sept. 1939 to Oct.1945 during which time he met his war bride Edna Betty Watts of almost 73 years. Victor’s service took him to England, France, Belgium, North Africa and Germany. He was a life member of the Victory Branch Legion in London, Ontario where he was Branch President in 1991 and Deputy Zone Commander in 1993. Predeceased by his parents Victor and Annie (Birchall) his sister Barbara and brother Bill. Loving Father of Frances (Wayne) and Richard (Gail), proud Grandfather to Warren, Ryan, Christopher (Lisa), Jamie (Shannon) and Adam. Great Grandpa to Jayden, Nathan, Hayley, Coledyn and Seth. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 22nd from 6 – 8 p.m. at Needham Funeral Service (520 Dundas St. London) Funeral Service to follow on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the Needham Funeral Service Chapel.
