Annabelle Cooney

Age 84, passed away on September 6, 2011 in Long Beach, California. Annabelle was born in Illinois and was a resident of Long Beach for 58 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Walter and Lelia Elgin Sr., a brother Arthur Elgin, and sisters Virginia Smith, Ella Mae McCulley and Pauline Cottone. She is survived by her brother James W. (Dorothy) Elgin, Danvers, IL and a sister Patricia (Gene) Nichols, Lakewood, 12 nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews. Annabelle worked at Pacific Maritime Association for 36 years and enjoyed her time with family and friends. She will be missed. Memorial Services will be held October 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Luyben Family Dilday-Mottell Mortuary at 5161 Arbor Rd., Long Beach, CA 90808 (562) 425-6401.
