John and Monica, Your family is in our hearts and thoughts during this difficult time.

Sincerest condolences to the Garrison family.  As soon as I heard the news my heart sank. Your son, your brother, I remember him as the first friend I really had. From going to Dodger games, warming up in the outfield, hitting at the Lakewood batting cages and being inseparable at a young age.  I still remember the day he showed up to practice with the Rick Vaughan/Wild Thing hair cut from Major League.  We're all here for you.

My Chris, 
When we met I was 19, he just turned 23.  That was it,  we were inseparable from summer 2008 through May 2013, and even after that we remained great friends.   We learned how to be adults together.  He enriched my soul in every way through music, love and laughter.   We were so reggae, punk, ska, old skool stylee.   Chris had so much soul.   He was very passionate.  He was a man of few words in a crowd, and a man with love, laughter and jokes if you had the honor to be in an intimate setting with him.  I discovered and unveiled my true self with him beside me.   My roots are with you Chris, I wouldn't be my Makeña  without you.   We were each other's biggest pain in the butt.  There's nothing he wouldn't do for me and Maeby, and there's nothing we wouldn't do for him.   He was beautiful.  Songs won't be the same without you Chris.  I guess our plan of Being old farts and terrorizing people will have to wait.  I'll see you in the next one.   Thank you for showing me what true love is.  Passion, you loved me with a passion I will forever hold close to my heart.

seeing you always added a bright spot to my day. You were a friend of mine. I cannot say that about too many folks. Thank you for being genuine. You will be missed.

To the Garrison family. I was so, so sad to hear about Chris. I have great memories of Chris and your wonderful family. Watching Chris and Mike play football. And our trips to Hawaii. I'm so sorry for the passing of Chris.

My condolences to the Garrison Family!  Our hearts are broken and sadden from the loss of Chris!  What a gentle and kind hearted man he was.  He loved to sing and play his music.  What a wonderful gift he gave to all who heard him sing!  When he would sing Karaoke, he would sing "Jammin" by Bob Marley. Everyone would look to see who was singing. He was awesome! Our condolences to The Garrison Family. We have many fond memories of Chris when he played sports at Dominguez Park.

Chris, I'm gonna miss having your fearless harmonies, your passion for music and most of all your kind soul. Love to ALL of Chris' genetic family, so sorry for your loss;  and his musical family, we'll be missing you!
