David Martin Cribbs

Born in Los Angeles on May 19, 1940 and departed this life on June 20 2013, after a short illness.

A 1958 graduate of Milliken High, he attended Long Beach City College and Graduated from the California College of Mortuary Science in 1961.

Survived by his loving wife Linda, children Gregory (Debi) Cribbs of San Gabriel, Christopher (Susan) Cribbs of San Gabriel, Eric (Andrea) Winkler of Long Beach, Audra McDonald of Avalon and Aundrea (Jeff) Politi of Stevenson Ranch. Also left to mourn his loss are grandchildren Carling, Madison and Kennedy Cribbs of San Gabriel, Chelsea (Chris) Hain of Waddell, Arizona, Cassandra (Henry) Hernandez of Glendale, Arizona, Caitlin McDonald and Eryn Cassidy of Avalon. Paige, Nicolas and Rachel Politi of Stevenson Ranch, and Cole & Clay Cribbs of San Gabriel. Also Great-Grand Children Travis and Vanessa Hernandez and Harper and Holly Hain.

A brother Curtis (Karen) of Huntington Beach also survives along with his Nephews, Jeff and Danny.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday June 25th at 11:00 am at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, Orange Avenue, Long Beach, CA

Interment will be on Thursday June 27th at 1:00 PM At Avalon Municipal Cemetery on Catalina Island.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in David’s name be made to the “Avalon High School Athletic Fund” Box 557, Avalon, CA 90704.
