Mrs. Dorothy Orth, age 90, of San Pedro California entered eternal life on Wednesday February 5, 2025, at Crofton Manor nursing home.
Dorothy was born April 1,1934 in Avoyelles Parish, Marksville, Louisiana to the union of
Gould M. Laborde and Josephine Dauzat Laborde.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, mother-in-law, grandmother and great grandmother.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her adoring husband of 48 years George Washington Orth, her parents and her sister Theodise Laborde McKay.
She leaves behind her beloved son George Warren Orth, daughter Carol Ann Orth Holton and husband Steve, as well as her sister Nordean Simms Laborde and brother Burnell Laborde. Her three dear Grandchildren; Steven, Naomi and Ruth and five cherished Great grandchildren; Kyngston, Stevie, Kaaliyah, Jordyn and Kamari.
She will be deeply missed by all for her beautiful smile, warm-hearted laughter, generosity,
playfulness and courage to face 90 years of life with strength from love, and hope and faith in God.
