Frances June Martin

Frances “June” Martin died peacefully at Bakersfield, CA on July, 9, 2013.

June was born May 27, 1921 to Frank and Margaret Engel at Pittsburgh, PA. moving to Long Beach, CA. as a young child. June was united in marriage to Vancil Martin on Sept 21, 1941 at Long Beach, living and raising her family in the Lakewood community.

June was preceded in death by her husband Vancil, son Frank, brother Charles, sisters Claire Anderson, Edith Waite and grandson David. She leaves behind to cherish her memory: sons, Dan (Vinnie), Ed, Jerry (Cathy), daughter Patti LaMunyon (Steve), sister Joyce Hammond (George), many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
