Katherine Bruce Kramer

Katherine Bruce Kramer passed away peacefully on April 16, 2012. Preceded in death by her husband, Major Daniel Kramer, U.S. Air Force, she is survived by her brother Allen and her children Daniel, Katherine and Cynthia. She had eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Born in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, New York on December 28, 1922, she traveled extensively as an Air Force wife. Florida, Japan, and Palm Springs were among the places she lived before making Long Beach her home. She loved her family, her friends, and the Willmore Building where she lived and served as board president for many years. Her passion and vision were instrumental in bringing about the restoration of the Willmore and placing it on the National Register of Historic Places. She supported organizations to further the welfare of animals. She profound faith in prayer and prayed daily that the greatest good would come to those she knew and the causes she believed in.
