Paul Duran of Cerritos, California, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2013 at Coast Plaza Hospital after a brief illness. Born on August 29, 1915 in Chicago, Illinois, Paul was the son of the late Frank and Eva Duran. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and was a prisoner of war in Germany. Paul was employed by Rockwell International until his retirement. He enjoyed reading and discussing current affairs all his life. We will miss his phone calls concerning a particular topic of interest.
Preceded in death by sisters Wanda Jurawl, Frances Duran, Genevieve Zakes and brother Walter Duran, he is survived by nieces and nephews in Arkansas and Illinois.
