Ralph Dale Tucker passed away peacefully at his home in Lakewood on Tuesday, August 9, 2011. Born on a farm near Athol, Kansas in 1923, he met Nadine Duvall in high school (where he was chosen All-State football center in 1942) and married her in 1945 while he was in the Marine Corps. Discharged in 1946, he worked for Southern California Edison Company for 39 years. He was a faithful and active member of Lakewood First United Methodist Church. He was a Boy Scout leader and enjoyed camping and fishing with the Reddy Eddy RV Club. He is survived by his wife Nadine; his three sons Steve, Stuart and Greg; his brother Bill; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A celebration of his life will be held at Lakewood First United Methodist Church on Monday, August 15 at 11:00 am
