

Raul Carrillo Jr., 43, of Long Beach, California passed away June 9, 2015. He was born in Long Beach St. Mary Medical Center on December 27, 1971. Raul graduated from Milikan High School and received an Associate's Degree in Criminal Law from Long Beach City College. Raul worked as a DJ in the entertainment industry. He was affiliated with True Gentleman of JX and was a big brother to AKNA. A fond memory was when he first stole the show as Cookie Monster at Long Beach City SpringSing, hence his nickname, "Cookie." Always one for having a good time, he loved playing poker games with his friends, spending time with his nieces and nephews. An avid sports fan, he loved getting together with his nephews to watch the wrestling matches and he always wanted to go to his first Raiders' game.
He is survived by his loving family including his nieces, Adrianna Solis, Tiffaney Gaona Carrillo, Gabriela Gaona Carrillo, Emily Gaona Carrillo, Monica Solis, and Jocelyn Gutierrez; nephews, Carlos Gaona, Joshua Gutierrez, Alejandro Solis; great-nephew, Eliasz Gaona Villaseñor; sisters, Delma Solis, Rebecca Carrillo, and Anna Carrillo. He is finally at home in heaven with his loving mother, Rosa Elia Carrillo. Both Mom and Uncle Rully
will be truly missed and will forever be in our hearts.
