Robert Roy Eddington

Our loving husband, father and papa passed away at the age of 79 on May 16, 2010 in his home with his loving family by his side. Bob served in the USAF for four years. He retired from Douglas/Boeing Aircraft after 39 years. He served as retiree president of UAW for six years. Bob cherished his time spent with his family and his passion for riding his Sea-Doo at Lake Havasu. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughters, Victoria (Robin) Klein and Judy Fowler; son, Gary Eddington; seven grandchildren; Kelly (Chris), Ryan, Tracy, Jeff, Garrett, Kristel and Katelyn; great granddaughter, Raya Lani; and sisters, Jean and Barbara. He was preceded in death by his great grandson, "Baby Luke"; his brother, Ron; and his parents. Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 from 4 - 7 pm at Luyben Family Dilday-Mottell Mortuary in Long Beach. Service will be on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 11 am at Bethany Lutheran Church, 4644 Clark Avenue, Long Beach.
