Robin Marie Noonan

Robin grew up in Springfield, Massachusetts. She graduated from Commerce High in Springfield, MA in 1974. After high school she: • Joined the United States Coast Guard in 1974 as one of the first females to be part of the USGC’s equal training (Est. 1974) and served for 4 years as a pioneer in women’s percervervience. She served and was the recipient of the Good Conduct Medal. She was honorably discharged in 1978, achieving the rank of Yeoman ‘A’, Third Class with strong recommendation for reenlistment. • Began and continued working in the Maritime Industry as a Marine Clerk for the remainder of her life. Robin enjoyed spending time with her three sons, friends, her animals and tending to her home and garden. Robin was preceded in death by her Father, Francis Barcome and her Brother Steven Barcome.

Robin is survived by her three children; Ryan Michael, Michael Francis and Francis Ryan, her Mother Helen Barcome and her siblings Joseph, Leslie, David and Nancy. A memorial service will be held at St. Pancratius Catholic Church June 24th 11 AM. A reception will be held by family, friends and relatives at 12:30 PM at Robin’s residence.
