Alleen White

Alleen White, 90, of Alba, TX passed away August 12, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born April 25, 1929 in Hillsboro, TX to Algie E. and Beulah Durham. Alleen did many things throughout her life, working as a photographer’s assistant, sewing clothes for those that needed them, working in her flower beds, helping with her husband’s pecan business, and working as an AVON distributor.

Alleen is survived by her children, Kenneth White and his wife Dana of Lindale, Lisa Thomas and her husband Delbert of Mineola, and Chris White of Canyon Lake, TX; sister, Nita Gipson of Buda, TX, 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Benjamin Lee White, and five siblings.

A time of visitation with her family will be from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at the Sand Springs Baptist Church, 3208 CR 2330, Mineola, TX 75773, with a service to celebrate her life following the visitation at the church at 1 p.m. Services are being held under the direction of Lakeview Funeral Home, Longview, TX.
