Carol Mozelle Wright Harris, 78, of Longview, passed away September 10, 2015 at a local nursing center. She was born July 4, 1937 in Longview to Herman Eddie and Maggie Arizona Batchelor Hamn. She married Floyd Odell Wright January 24, 1953 in Longview, he preceded her in death on February 25, 1992. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, baking cakes and gardening. She attended both Morton Baptist Church and Grace Baptist Church in White Oak.
Ms. Harris is survived by her daughter: Reta Springer of Chruch Road, VA, daughter: Jeanine Carroll and her husband Jimmy of Smithfield, VA, son: Daniel Wright and his wife Marilyn of Hallsville, TX, daughter: Elizabeth Theobald and her husband Kevin of Sedalia, Co, and son: Kent Wright of Richmond, VA; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and sister-in-law: Dora Dawson of Longview. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, and sister, Lila Bass.
Services to honor her memory will be at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at the Chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home, Longview, Texas with Rev. Charles Chargois officiating. Interment will follow at Eagle Creek Cemetery with Rev. Mike Brittain officiating.
