Services for Carol Yvonne Woods, age 68, of Longview will be Friday, April 6th at 2:00 p.m. at Lakeview Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Thursday, April 5th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Carol was born on November 20, 1943 in Houston, Texas to Marion T. and Beulah Meyers Paul. She was married to the love of her life, Jack Woods for 47 years. She loved to garden and could bring any plant back to life. She was active in her community, was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Lodge 4125, VFW Post 4002 and volunteered regularly.
Carol is survived by her husband, Jack Woods, daughter Lisa Davenport, son Brad Woods and his wife Ande, five grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers for the service will be Larry Morris, Reese Wright, Kegon Kobs-Beard, Ryan Davenport, Michael Heatherly, Ray Brill.
