Cindy was born May 27, 1964 to Timothy Alden Hayes and Linda Beth Ramsey. She married her beloved husband and best friend, Michael Stephen Conrado, in 1988 and they continued to share 34 irreplaceable years together. Cindy graduated from Dulles High School in Sugar Land, Texas in 1982. She later earned a degree in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin in 1990. While she worked in various pharmaceutical sales roles throughout her life, she had an outstanding passion for teaching, particularly in special education, and worked as an educator for collectively fifteen years. She was intelligent beyond her own awareness, and was committed to continuing her own knowledge and exploring new interests even well after her school years.
Cindy filled every room she entered with incredibly bright light and had an immeasurable gift of making those around her feel important. A good friend to many, she was intuitive and thoughtful—always seeking ways to be of service to those she loved. She had an affinity for traveling to new places, cooking elaborate foods, singing and listening to music, reading and reflecting in her Bible and daily devotionals, and discovering new avenues to be creative and express herself. Cindy was also a fiercely loyal and devoted Mother. Of the many things that Cindy loved, there is nothing that she cherished more than spending quality time with her family, especially with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her family; her husband, Michael Stephen Conrado; her parents, Timothy Alden Hayes (Suann) and Linda Beth Ramsey (Bill); her children, Bradford Hayes Conrado (Morgan), Brianna Hayes Conrado (Landon), John Joseph Conrado III, and Michael Stephen Conrado Jr.; her grandchildren, Graham and Cohen Conrado; her sisters, Lynne Casey (David), Sharon Hayes (Ron), and Kerry Newton (Brent); her step siblings, Robyn Gilliland, Trey Gilliland, John Gilliland, and Marshall Ramsey (Emily.) Pallbearers serving to honor Cindy’s life are Timothy Hayes, Bradford Conrado, John Conrado III, Michael Conrado Jr., Brent Newton, and Landon Jett.
A funeral service will be held to celebrate Cindy’s vivacious life at 10:00 AM on Saturday April 23, 2022 at Lakeview Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens at 5000 W. Harrison Rd., Longview, TX 75604, followed by a graveside service at 11:00 AM and a reception to follow at noon. The service will be officiated by Pastor Mike Burns of Victory Church in Canton, TX.
