Cora Ilene Perry Jones

Mrs. Jones lived most of her life in the East Texas area where she enjoyed many hobbies like singing, cake decorating, ceramics and stained glass works.

Born Dec 25, 1940 in Kilgore TX, she is survived by her husband of 61 years, Grady E. Jones of Gilmer; 3 sons: Wesley E and Theresa Waldref Jones of Tavares, FL, Johnny and Renee Jones of New Braunsfels, TX, and Kenny Jones and Bill Sheffield of Hillsboro, TX; brother: Howard Perry of Tennessee; 25 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her father and step mother Robert O and Tony Perry both of Gilmer, TX; mother: Myrtle McHenry of Kilgore, TX; brothers: Malcolm Perry of Wisconsin, Donald Brown of Dallas, and Robert Perry of Longview; and sister: Rebecca Smith of Winnsboro, TX.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the Lakeview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, 5000 West Harrison Road, Longview, TX with Pastor Tommy Brazier officiating. Flowers may be sent to Lakeview Funeral Home in care of Ilene jones.
