The first time that I remember seeing & knowing who Danny really was...was back in '68 when my dad-Tim, Sr. was deployed to Vietnam. My Mama-Laura Evelyn a sister to Sue Ann, my sister Kelly & I had moved from El Paso, TX/Fort Bliss, TX & was  living in the Pine Tree area of Gregg County.   
I remember going to his residence many times during that year, & I kind-of remember that he lived in a 3-level, white wood framed townhouse.  The 1st level of the townhouse was the living room and kitchen area, the 2nd level were the bedrooms, & the 3rd was a basement.  It was a great home, & I remember that we all (that's the grandkids to the 13  children of Hershal and Gracie Hutcheson) had a lot of fun there playing, watching TV, swinging, & of course eating and drinking sweet tea! 
I want to say that this particular residence was near or close to the original homestead of Hershel and Gracie Hutcheson.
The very 1st event was a family get-together, & I remember being led to the back door & seeing both Danny and Charles, wearing only shorts, playing in the back yard & sweating profusely.  They were on the back patio area and taking turns swinging on a swing that was made from a rope, a tire, & was placed on a big tall tree.  
Kelly & I made our way to the back yard & we played & played.   Eventually we got the opportunity to swing on the swing!   It was a lot of fun! 
From that day on & up till recent days, every time that I would think of the boys……. I would always picture them both in that back yard taking turns swinging on that old swing.
When I learned of the sad news of Danny passing....the first thing that I pictured in my mind was him swinging on that swing in that back yard in Longview.  There was a little difference thou, as Danny wasn’t a little boy any longer…. he was that adult male that we all have come to know and love of today.  
From this day on…..when I see a swing like I mentioned above…. I will think of my dear loving cousin – Danny swinging in Heaven!  


Danny will always hold a special place in our hearts 💕      He will truly be missed.   You were a great friend.  We love you!

Danny was such a kind person. He was so funny and always had a smile on his face. He was kind and considerate and he was the one that told us we had a poisonous tree that could hurt our new puppy. Without him telling us I would never have known. Miss you sweet friend. RIP Danny.

I started working with Danny in 1994  RIP friend 

I graduated from high school with Danny! He was one of the most positive, up beat, and funniest people I have known in life. I never heard him say a bad thing about anyone. RIP Danny! 

I have great memories of sharing classes (including choir) with Danny! He will be greatly missed. 

Danny worked for my late husband and  I for 15 yrs.
Not only a employee but a good friend.
Shared many fun experiences together.
Will miss him greatly

Danny was an awesome coworker, he never complained. He did love to laugh, he will be missed all of us who worked with.
