

Ed served in the Air Force for 10 years and was stationed in Tripoli, Libya, N. Africa. After the Air Force, he resided in California. There, he worked under A.J. Foyt and Parnelli Jones. He moved to Longview in 1970 and worked at Lively Olds Cadillac for 17 yrs. as Service Mgr. until he retired. He loved NASCAR races and barbeques with family and friends.
He is survived by his children: Linda and Randy Carlson, Eddie and Kay Mullins, Jr., Kathryn Mullins, and Judy Shopher; brothers and sisters: Robert & Betty Mullens, Butch and Lois Mullens, Dale and Brenda Mullens, and Karen Harley; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and lifelong friends Benny and Faye Tucker.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years Mary Mullins, his parents Frank and Mary Mullens, great grandson, Isaac Henderson; and brothers and sisters Doyle Richard, Judy Sue, Gwendolyn Laverne, Leland Dwayne, and Helen Louise.
The family would like to thank Karen from Good Shepherd and all the wonderful people at Heart to Heart Hospice for their special care of Ed.
There will be a gathering of friends and family from 6 – 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Lakeview Funeral Home. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2013 p.m. at the Chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home.
