Elaine Janie Nix, age 78, of Longview, Texas passed away on Wednesday February 14, 2018 at a local hospital. Elaine was born December 18, 1939 in Marshall, Texas. She retired from Brookshire Grocery Company, with over 35 years of service there, as a regional manager. She was most known for being the Region 3 Trainer.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years: John Haley Nix of Longview; daughter: Freida Nix; son: Eddie Nix; grandchildren: Tiffany Riddle and Amy Clark; great grandchildren: Taylor Riddle, Kileigh Riddle, Austin Clark, Keelan Clark; and great grandchild: Braxton McNeal.
A memorial service for Elaine will be held Monday, February 26, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Calvary Baptist Church, Tenneryville Road, Longview, Texas.
