

Frances Bryce Fuller was born September 30, 1924, in Winnsboro, Texas and went to be with the Lord on October 20, 2022, in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. She was the third of five children born to Sam A and Dixie Bryce. She married Robert C. Fuller on July 21, 1967. She was employed by Texas Eastman Company in February, 1959, and served as Supervisor of Stenographic Services and Data Entry until her retirement on May 1, 1986.
Frances was a member of the Golden Light Chapter of American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) where she was Past-President and was awarded Woman of the Year. She joined the Zonta Club of Longview in 1969 and was active for many years. She served on the official board of the First United Methodist Church of Longview, where she also played the piano in the Children’s Department over 25 years. Additionally, she served on the board of Longview Federated Clubs and was a Past-President of the Knife and Fork Club.
Frances served in the Navy WAVES during World War II and was a member of Unit 61 WAVES National. While on active duty, she was assigned to Congress to take dictation and transcribe testimony from the Admirals in the investigation into the attack by the Japanese on Pearl Harbor.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband Robert C. Fuller; parents Sam A. and Dixie Bryce; her brother Lester and wife Jackie Bryce; her brother Harold and wife Wanda Bryce; her brother Sam Deryl Bryce and her sister Norma Jean Martin. She is survived by her son, Larry Don Jones (Nancy) of Leesburg; daughter Susan Kay Edwards of Cypress, daughter Karen Gay Ray (Woody) of Leesburg, Sister-in-law Norma Gay Bryce of Longview, Bobbie Folmar of Winnsboro, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Chris Jones, Kyle Jones, Chad Jones, John Mims, Mickey Bryce and Stacey Bryce.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Methodist Church of Longview or to the charity of your choice.
A time of visitation with her family for Louie will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lakeview Funeral Home, 5000 West Harrison Road, Longview, Texas 75604. A celebration of her life will occur Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church, 400 N Fredonia St, Longview, TX 75601.
