Hunter Dale Stephens

Funeral Services for Hunter Dale Stephens will be at 2 pm Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Woodland Hills Baptist Church with services directed by Lakeview Funeral Home. Hunter brightened our world on May 17, 2003 and went to be with Jesus on May 1, 2014, in Dallas, Texas.

Even though Hunter battled brain cancer every day of his life, he always had a smile that was contagious and his attitude towards everyone was always “Happy, Happy, Happy.” He attended Hallsville schools. He loved Duck Dynasty, the Dallas Cowboys, superheros (but to us he was our Superhero) and he loved eating chicken McNuggets, French fries and ketchup with a coke at McDonalds. He touched the lives of everyone he knew and that knew him, and even those who did not know Hunter; but most of all he loved Jesus and his family.

He is survived by his parents Bradley and Jennifer Golden Stephens; his sister, Dia Lynn Stephens; grandparents, Dave and Laura Lyon; grandparents, Monty and Kelly Stephens; grandparents, Daniel and Lindy Golden; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

His family will receive visitors at Woodland Hills Baptist Church Monday, May 5, 2014 from 6pm till 8pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made on Hunter’s behalf to Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, Texas or to the American Cancer Society.
