Joyice Wylene Olbrias

Joyice Wylene Olbrias age 78 passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018, at East TX Hospice in Tyler, Tx. She was born February 29, 1940, to James Malburn and Dessie Myra (Chance) Bryan, she grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and the surrounding area with numerous cousins, and friends. She married Stanley Olbrias on October 7, 1972, in Douglasville, GA. Joyice worked as a bookkeeper for many years, she opened Jo’s Tax Service in 2010 and worked tirelessly at it until her health failed. Joyice lived life to her best ability, she faced everyday on her terms and met each challenge head on. She faced some hard times, but she never once wavered in defeat. With God on her side and her grandson Bryan on the other, she had everything she needed. She is survived by three daughters Melody Wilson (Johnny), Michele Durham (Keith), Melissa Vickery (Joshua); nine grandchildren, Nicole (Robert)Shepard, Markus Wilson, Bryan “Pookie Bear” Olbrias, Taylor Jones, Tiffany Miller, Chelsie Coleman (Andrew), Brianna LeBaron; five step-grandchildren Jeff Poole, Autumn Vickery, Kayla Vickery, Joshua “Bubba” Vickery, Lanie Durham (USMC) and Destiny Olbrias, and seven great grandchildren Dameon, Dakota, Serenity, Aydin, Owen, Jaxon, and Elijah. Joyice was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Glorious Allene Bryan, a brother James Troy Bryan, an infant son Michael James Olbrias, step-son Christopher Lee (Olbrias) Poole, step-son Stanley Olbrias Jr., step-grandson Christopher Lee Poole Jr. (USMC) and husband Stanley John Olbrias. Joyice spent the last 50 years of her life as a mother to her three daughters, now is the time for her to spend the time with her son Michael. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, September 29, 2018, at 2 PM at Lakeview Funeral Home.
