Lillian Gunter

Services for Lillian Gunter, 81, of Longview, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2011, at Lakeview Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Chris Charles officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends and family for visitation from 6-8 p.m. today, July 29, 2011, at the funeral home.

Lillian was born June 11, 1930, in Portales, New Mexico, to Ray Orendorff and Gladys Kerr Orendorff. Lillian was married to Kent Gunter for 42 wonderful years. She was a cosmetician at McIntosh Drug in Longview and more recently a cashier at Mama Moose Deli.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kathlene Baker and husband, Bill, and Kenna Baker and husband, Bob; beloved grandchildren, Justin Baker and Jennifer George, Alan and Elissa Baker, Jessica Baker and her fiancé, Jeremy Simmons, Matthew Baker and Christy Hickerson; great-grandchildren, Colton Baker, Alaina Baker, Ross Baker, Logan Hickerson, Jill Hickerson and Kaitlyn Hickerson; sisters, Jerry Holloway and husband, Delbert, Eloise Pliler and Lynda Matthews; brother, Larry Orendorff and wife, Diane; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parent;, husband, Kent Gunter; brothers, James Orendorff, Donald Orendorff and Charles Orendorff; and sister, Waynell Foster.
