Lois Nell Grizzle

She was born in Gladewater, Texas to Arvin and Daphna Fields. Lois was raised in Gladewater and graduated from Gladewater High School. She married Wayne Grizzle in 1944 and the couple had one child. She was a cosmetic sales consultant for Longview Drug and Riff's where she worked for more than 20 years.

In her spare time, Lois enjoyed crocheting, watching women's basketball, reading, playing solitaire, and spending time with family. Her family and friends will always remember her as a caring, family-first, sweet and unselfish woman who loved to make things for people she loved, from baked goods to crocheted blankets.

She is preceded in death by her father Arvin Fields, mother Daphna McDaniel, brother E. H. Fields, sister Cindy Dekon, and husband Wayne Grizzle.

She is survived by her son, Bobby Grizzle; grandsons Matthew Grizzle and wife Christina, and Robert Stansel and wife Heather; granddaughter Lindsay K. Grizzle; great-grandchildren Corbin, Kaleb, Bailey, Preston, and Garrett; and Bertha and kids who were like a daughter and grandchildren to her.

A visitation for Lois will be held Tuesday, August 5, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lakeview Funeral Home, 5000 West Harrison Road, Longview, TX 75604. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, August 6, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Lakeview Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 5000 W Harrison Rd, Longview, TX 75604.
