Mary A. Dent

Mary A. Dent, 90, of Kilgore, Texas passed away on Monday July 1, 2019 in Kilgore. Mary was born September 3, 1928 in Garrison, Texas. Mary worked as a seamstress throughout her life. She married Vernon Oliver Dent in 1946 in Longview. She enjoyed camping at Lake o' the Pines, being with her grandkids and eating Mexican food.

Mary is survived by her son, Jesse Charles Dent and his wife, Sondra of Longview, son Richard Earl Dent and his wife Patricia of Kilgore; grandchildren: Gary Dent and his wife Susie of Longview, Brad Dent of Mesquite, Stacy Dent and his wife Niki of Frisco, Richard James Dent and his wife Monica of Baltimore, MD; 5 great grandchildren; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Vernon Oliver Dent, sons: Billy Ray Dent, Michael Oliver Dent, Robert Alonzo Dent and Vernon Wayne Dent, her brother, Billy Carl and sister Leola.

A time of visitation with her family will be held Saturday, July 6, 2019 from 1 to 2 PM at Lakeview Funeral Home, 5000 West Harrison Road, Longview, Texas. A celebration of her life will occur Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 2 PM at The Chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home, 5000 West Harrison Road, Longview, Texas, interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, 5000 West Harrison Road, Longview, Texas.
