Michael was born on January 9th, 1953 to parents Robert William and Zella Gneeta Allen in Kilgore, Texas.
He worked as a regulatory supervisor for America Midstream for 40 years.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents Robert William and Zella Gneeta Allen and his brothers Billy Allen, Ronnie Allen, and Jerry Allen.
Michael is survived by his wife of 23 years, Tracey Allen, daughter Julie Groves and son-in-law Roger Groves, step children Chris Shirley and wife Pam, and Tara Smith and husband John. Grandchildren Jacob McDonald, Nora Smith, Jackson Shirley, Charles Smith and Micayla Groves.
A time of visitation with his family will be held Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 9:00 AM at Lakeview Funeral Home, 5000 W. Harrison Road, Longview, TX 75604, followed by a celebration of his life at 10:00 AM.
