Graveside services for Modene R. Sinclair, age 91, of Longview, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 15th, 2011, at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, under the direction of Lakeview Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the Mausoleum Chapel of Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
Modene was born March 26, 1920, in Burkburnett, Texas, to William E. Riggs and Ola Mae Farrell. Modene met and married H.A. Sinclair, and they spent 70 wonderful years together. Her family was the joy of her life. She loved to sew, crochet and cook. She was a member of Greggton First Baptist Church.
Modene was preceded in death by her husband, H.A. Sinclair. She is survived by her children, William Sinclair and Elaine Martin and her husband, Mike; grandchildren, Debra Webb of Houston, John Sinclair of Longview, Steven Sinclair of Lake Flat, Ark., Angela Campbell of East Mountain, Scott Martin of Kilgore and Lisa Norris of Ore City; and six great-grandchildren.
