
She worked for ATT as an operator and served as a union representative. She was a member of the Harrison County Cowboy Church. She enjoyed volunteering for her church. She always wanted to lend a hand teaching or helping with the Wednesday night fellowship dinners. She was Nanny to her grandchildren, and she especially enjoyed being a part of her grandchildren’s lives when she could. She would try to attend all of the FFA livestock shows that they were involved in and watch all of their soccer or football games they were a part of.
She is survived by sons: Jack Hassek and his wife Mary of South Carolina, and Joseph Hassek and his wife Molly of Bradford, PA; daughters: Judy Bennett and her husband Tony of Midwest City, OK, Janet Greene and her husband Joel of Smethport, Pa, and Jean Pittman and her husband Richard of Gilmer, TX; 39 grandchildren and great grandchildren, including Trey and Justice Hassek, as well as one on the way. She is preceded in death by her parents.
She was loved and will be missed by all of her family and friends.
Cremation arrangements are being handled by Lakeview Funeral Home in Longview. A memorial service for her will be held at a later date.
