Paula Kay Bennett Sayadoff, 54, of Longview, passed away February 25, 2016 at a local hospital. She was born December 29, 1961 in Gladewater to Paul and Sherry Bennett. Paula grew up in Gladewater, attending Gladewater schools and was a member of the class of 1980. She went on and received an associate’s degree from Kilgore College. Paula didn’t like to let too much grass grow under her feet, she loved to live, whether in Dallas, Las Vegas or Lake Tahoe, she loved to travel and to talk and visit with people, that is why she was so good at the business of sales. She never met a stranger would ask anyone anything. While selling timeshares in Las Vegas, she met her husband, Dan Sayadoff and they were married while in Las Vegas. Shortly after they married, Paula felt the call to be close to her mother, so they moved back home to Longview. Dan started working at Lakeview Funeral Home and after a couple of years, convinced Paula to come to work there as our receptionist, where she could again do what she does best, talk and visit with people.
Paula is survived by her husband Dan of Longview, mother: Sherry Williamson and her husband Marvin of Longview, sister: Connie Dennis and her husband Steve of Frisco; nephew: Blake Bullard and his wife Whitney of Range, Alabama; niece: Holly Muzny and her husband Kyle of Moore, Ok; mother-in-law: Marion F. Sayadoff of West Hartford, Conn., as well as a number of extended family members and close friends. She was preceded in death by her father Paul Bennett and her uncle Michael Bennett.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the Chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home with a time of visitation with her family to be held at the funeral home after the services are concluded.
