Rachel graduated from Kilgore High School in 1956. She was a member of the Eastview Church of God and FHA.
Rachel was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Loma Watson Washburn. She is survived by her husband, Curtis Whitfield; children, Pam Hill and Johnny Whitfield and wife Merlene Whitfield; grandchildren, Kevin Hill and wife Undrakh Hill, Todd Hill and wife Michelle Hill and Daniel Hill; great grandchildren, Sydney, Carson and Rory Hill.
Rachel loved her grandchildren, flowers, canning, sewing, crocheting and watching westerns.
A graveside service for Rachel will be held Monday, May 19, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Memory Park Cemetery, 2823 E Marshall Ave, Longview, TX 75601.
