

Ronald Wayne Carroll entered eternity to embrace his lord. He was an unwavering man of faith. Ronald lived a boundless life. He never met a stranger. A celebration of his life memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at 2:00pm at lakeview funeral home.
Born on February 12, 1966, in Longview Texas to Joyce Ann and Kenneth Wayne Carroll of Diana, TX. Ronald went to school at New Diana High School. After graduating he joined the Texas Army National Guard stationed in Ft. Hood, Texas. He served as a tank driver for the Longview, TX branch Company B, 5th Battalion, 112th Armor. During his service he accomplished many achievements. He was awarded his Army Service Ribbon, a National Defense Service Medal, and his Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal, earned for his expert qualifications with a .45 caliber pistol, and hand grenade qualifications. He lived in Diana with his daughters. He worked for wholesale insulation in Diana. He did logging work for several years with his friend, Donald Scott Walker.
Ronald was a lover of outdoor life, fishing, hunting, and cooking was his passion. He wanted to be a world traveler, going to every fishing spot he could find. He would always be seen fishing the most. He passed his fishing skills to his children. To this day his daughters love to go fishing.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Joyce Carroll, grandparents Jessie and Dudley Carroll, Junior Windham, and Katherine "Dovie" Windham Bock.
Ronald is survived by his daughters Courtney Danielle Carroll of White Oak, TX; Chelsey Danise Carroll of Missouri; Cheyanne Docha Chidester of Utah; Kaitlyn Joy Fowler of Texas; brother Steven Douglas Carroll and wife Kim of Gilmer, TX; sister Sonia Ann Carroll beck and husband Scott of Longview, TX; grandchildren Lucas, Emily, and Lily Mae; niece Sara Sallee and her daughter Clover of Longview, TX; niece Kristen Beck of Longview, TX; and several uncles, aunts, and cousins.
