Shirley Ann Wingfield

Shirley was born on May 23rd, 1943 in Gladewater, Texas to Eva Gammage and Archie Salter. After graduating from Gladewater High School she took a career as an Administrative Assistant for Gladewater National Bank. Shirley was a member of Lighthouse Church Longview, TX.

Shirley is preceded in death by her husband of 35 years Robert Young; son, Brent Young; granddaughter, Kennedi Burks; brother, Larry Salter; and parents Archie and Eva Salter.

She is survived by her husband of 4 years, James Wingfield; children Royce Young, Stacey Akin and her husband Keith Akin; grandchildren, Blake Willoughby and wife Sara, Zach Willoughby and wife Victoria, Addy Akin, Ayden Akin, Cash Young and his wife Caitlyn, Lauren Burks and her husband Dillon, Tiffany Tyler, and Megan Young ; great-grandchildren Ashton, Addilyn, and Avery Willoughby, River and Kaisyn Willoughby, Sage and Sophia Young, Conrad, Harlow, and Oaklynn Burks, Landon Tyler, Adilynn Gouake, Leah Young, and Karson Young ; and nephew Matthew House.

Serving as Pallbearers are Blake Willoughby, Ashton Willoughby, Zach Willoughby, Cash Young, Ayden Akin, and Keith Akin

A graveside service for Shirley will be held Friday, May 9, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Lakeview Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 5000 West Harrison Road, Longview, Texas 75604.
