Barb Johnson, age 70 of Lafayette, Indiana passed away on February 14, 2024 in Los Angeles after a long illness at Kindred Hospital. Barbara attended Jefferson High School in Indiana and After graduation she began working as a purchasing agent for General Foods. After leaving General Foods, she worked in the airline industry. In 1990 she moved to Los Angeles where she worked as a private travel agent for people in the film industry. Always fond of learning new things, she taught herself computer science and became a computer tech on the side.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, John McIntyre, and Linda “Gert“ McIntyre, and her husband, Dale Johnson who was killed in a car crash in 1987. Barbara is survived by her sister Dody McIntyre, her two sons, Shawn and Brian Osborne, and her beloved grandchildren Olen and Aiden Osborne. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.
