

Born on March 13, 1962, Barron was the son of the late Shirley Eyraud (Smith) and Albert J. Eyraud Jr.
Barron grew up as a 4th generation L.A. native with his best friend and nephew, Frank Eyraud Jr., by his side. Barron loved and embraced the California lifestyle, growing up surfing, playing tennis and playing beach volleyball. He was a member of both the Jonathan Club in Los Angeles and the New York Athletic Club in Manhattan.
Barron attended Harvard Westlake School in Los Angeles before enrolling at Georgetown University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. Following graduation, Barron moved to New York City, where he pursued a career as Senior Vice President Municipal Bond Trader at Hartfield Titus and Donnelly LLC for many years. Having finally settled in South Carolina for the past 17 years, Barron quickly became a fixture in the Charleston tennis community, helping many young athletes advance in the sport.
Barron is preceded in death by his parents, Albert J. Eyraud Jr. and Shirley Eyraud, as well as his brothers, Stephen, David, Albert J. Eyraud III and his beloved dog Bebe.
He is survived by his daughter, Nicole (Nikki) Eyraud, and his brother Frank Eyraud Sr., as well as a host of nieces and nephews, with a special fondness for his “cousin for life” Darren MacDowell and his niece, Simone Eyraud Adams with whom he remained in constant contact in his final days. Many beloved friends and extended family members will continue to cherish his memory.
