Survived by husband, of 55 years, Allen Grossman, son Robert Grossman and daughter Laura Grossman.
She was a lifelong Violinist, starting at the age of three. After graduating from the Julliard School of Music, NYC, she joined a group of strolling violinists performing throughout the US and Canada. In 1955 she moved to Los Angeles after visiting with her sister, Baily Kanin (deceased). In 1956 she married Allen Grossman. Continuing to perform as a Violinist with various groups and orchestras such as the Glendale Symphony and the Temianka Chamber Orchestra. She played with Fox and other studio orchestras over a long period of time. Later becoming affiliated with, the now, the Beverly Hills Symphony and became President and served in that capacity for many years. Other than musical organizations, she was a member of the UCLA Costen Institute, Club 100, LA Library Assoc., Beverly Hills Police Volunteers Group and several charity groups.
