

Juan Macias de Haro was known as many things to many people. He was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew him best, Juan will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
He was the son of Eleno Macias and Nieves De Haro. Juan grew up in El Sauz de los Garcia, Zacatecas.
Juan was raised with 4 siblings since his mom passed away when he was only 6 years old. He had 3 brothers Santos, Luis, Antonio and two sisters sisters Maria and Lupe. He and his siblings shared many life experiences over the years.
Juan worked hard to be a good father to his children and he did his best to fulfill their needs. Juan was blessed with 13 children, Rodolfo, Reynaldo, Emma, Alvaro, Ricardo, Isidro, Hipolito, Juan, Magdalena, Antonio and Ramon.
Juan worked diligently and did his best to succeed in his career. His primary occupation was Agriculture and also worked in the fields in the United States. Juan always sought to do what was necessary to earn money to sustain his family.
Juan enjoyed his leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. His favorite pursuits were reading the bible and sharing stories of his childhood. He was content to enjoy his favorite pastimes alone but was also willing to share his interests with others.
Juan’s faith was important to him. He was a member Divine Savior Catholic Church among several other local Catholic Churches. During his time in Mexico, he was involved in sponsoring baby Jesus during Christmas time in Mexico.
Juan passed away on January 22, 2020 at Hollywood Presbytarian Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his 9 children, 31 grandkids and 19 great grandkids. Services were held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and will be laid to rest in Resurrection Cemetery along side his beloved wife Eufemia Macias.
Simply stated, Juan was a loving person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Juan leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember Juan Macias de Haro.

Juan Macias de Haro, 91, de Los Angeles, California fallecio el 22 de enero de 2020 rodeado de sus seres queridos. Juan nació el 24 de junio de 1928 en Mexico a sus padres Eleno Macias y Nieves de Haro. Juan crecio en El Sauz De los Garcia,en Zacatecas y ahi fue donde conocio el amor de su vida y formaron una familia. Juan tuvo 13 hijos y le sobrevivieron 9 hijos, 31 nietos y 19 bisnietos.
En los inicios de su matrimonio Juan trabajo en los Estados Unidos como bracero hasta que en el 1979 toda la familia se reunieron y migraron en Los Angeles, California donde permanecio junto con toda la familia hasta su fallecimiento.
La velacion/viewing para Juan se realizará el miércoles, 29 de enero de 2020 desde las 5:00 p. m. hasta las 8:00 p. m., en La Iglesia Catolica del Sagrado Corazon, 2210 Sichel St, Los Angeles, CA 90031 con el Rosario a las 6:00 p.m.. Su misa/funeral mass se llevará a cabo el jueves, 30 de enero de 2020 a las 10:00 a. m. en La Iglesia Catolica del Sagrado Corazon, 2210 Sichel St, Los Angeles, CA 90031 con el entierro despues de la misa en Resurrection Cemetery, 966 Potrero Grande Dr, Rosemead, CA 91770.
